Google has a new service: Page Speed Service Comparison. The goal of this Google Service is simply to point out the issues that you should consider fixing concerning the speed of your website.
Page Speed is an open-source project started at Google to help developers optimize their web pages by applying web performance best practices.
If you want to attract traffic, the speed of your website is very important as search engines like Google and Yahoo might penalize slow websites.
So Speed is what we need, to make money on-line fast! It also effects your Google Adsense click rates as in slow websites visitors will just not wait till the banners show up.
I did a test on my main website, www.businessforhome.org and the result is in this video, the website can load approx, 5.4 seconds or 36% faster:
I also run a test for this website www.tednuyten.com and there even 6 seconds or 43% faster is possible.

The whole question is: This are unbiased test results from Google, but to fine tune your website is something for an expert and those guys or girls are not that easy to find.
So unless you want to spend money or you are a professional in this field, my advice would be not to touch it. 
However it is great to know your website can run faster.
